These open balcony bogie passenger coaches are ideal for any period setting on your railway and feature interior seating and lighting with all round glazing. The balcony has steps down each side and a front doorway with a drop down walkway plate over the couplings. The bogies our a strong reliable design featuring axle boxes, springs and brake pads using brass axle bearings and heavy GRS metal wheel sets for a beautiful ride.
The kit comes with interior LED lights, battery box and switch to fit on the underside as well as an air reservoir tank for brake detailing. Supplied with Binnies centre buffer couplings and 3 link chains, the buffers screw into the buffer beam. Each end of the carriage features a hinged foot plate that provides a walk way between carriages.
The coach has glazed windows all round and features a lighting bar and all the seating. The curved wooden roof provides cover over the length of the coach and balconies and has a ribbed frame so it can be made to be easily removed if required.
There are two versions available: The saloon coach with a balcony each end with four main windows and seating for thirteen passengers. The second is a saloon and parcels composite coach with guard look out windows at the back with double doors and three main windows with seating for ten passengers. The guards compartment has its own lighting bar and LED with partition wall and comes with two seats and brake column.
These coaches measure 340mm over the buffer beams by 110mm wide and 140mm in height from rail to roof.
They can also be supplied in 96mm wide to match the our two standard 2 axle range rolling stock.
