Based on the Gemenc forest railway logging bogie for hauling lumber loads, these have a coupling each end for running trains into the forest, then work with a lumber load suspecnded between two bogies to run the train out of the forest.
These bogies feature a strong underframe running on heavy GRS metal wheel sets and brass bearings with axle box detailing. The top of the bogie has a swivel bolster arm with 3mm stainless steel upright rods. The side frames also have four tie down hoops for securing the loads.
These bogies can also be used as a pair of bogies for wagons and scratch builing rolling stock.
The bogie frame measures 88mm by 70mm with a wheel base of 42mm and uses L&B 25mm diameter wheels. Available as SM32 or G45 axles (included)
Complete with their own stron wooden couplings for use wirh a bar link or chains or can be fitted with any other bolt through coupling.
